Valley Truck Centers is continually looking for technicians with experience in diesel engines, transmissions and electronics. We hire Diesel Technicians at all levels of their career and at each of our locations. Additional faactory training is provided to our technicians to help them continuously build upon their skills. Our Diesel Technicians are responsible for communicating directly with supervisors on maintenance or repairs that require additional attention.
Responsible for selling heavy duty truck parts in a retail/wholesale environment, the Parts Counterperson must have excellent computer and customer service skills. Working with external customers and the rest of the Parts team, the Parts Counterperson must be able to remain organized and professional in a fast-paced work environment.
The Service Advisor greets incoming customers, discusses requested repairs/complaints and puts the necessary information onto a repair order in such a way as to accurately direct a technician to perform those requested services and repairs. The Service Advisor also accesses warranty information on-line and determines warranty status of the vehicle. Phone skills and history of superior customer service are required. Some truck or mechanical knowledge is essential.
